In diesem Themenraum stellen wir ein gemeinsames Projekt von (Data Sicience for Social Good (DSSG) und AWO vor, das die Einrichtungsdatenbank neu denkt: Mit Webscraping, Datenanalyse und KI wollen wir veraltete, manuell gepflegte Informationen überwinden und eine zentrale Wissensquelle schaffen – für Nutzer*innen wie für die Organisation selbst.

How can we ensure that people throughout Germany can find reliable and up-to-date information about social institutions – and how can modern data science help with this? And: How can a large welfare organization such as the AWO better understand what it does – and how it does it? In this theme room, we present a joint project between Data Science for Social Good (DSSG) and AWO that rethinks the facility database: Using web scraping, data analysis, and AI, we want to overcome outdated, manually maintained information and create a central source of knowledge – for users and for the organization itself.
